Laura Hall will continue to serve her five-year sentence behind bars for evidence tampering.

State parole officials Wednesday denied her latest parole request in the case involving the 2005 murder of Jennifer Cave.

Hall was convicted in 2007 of helping Colton Pitonyak cover up Cave's murder.

Pitonyak is serving a 55-year sentence for Cave's murder.

Hall can request parole again in another year.
