The senior class of Austin's Eastside Memorial High School graduated this weekend.

Despite staff, faculty and curriculum changes the school underwent this past year, seniors successful finished their high school career.

"Through it all, they've kept their eye on the goal to be the best they can be; to seek out help from each other and from the teachers when they needed to be." Eastside teacher Jean Fiske, said. "We're extraordinarily proud of them."

Eastside Memorial was formally known as Johnston High School, which was closed last year due to poor performance.

Reagan High School and Pearce Middle School have been marked to potential shut down as well.
