Parents' plea for daughter's safe return

A central Texas family is trying to stay optimistic as Williamson County law enforcement officials search for their daughter in a wooded area in Georgetown.
Robert and Janet Cooke, Rachel Cooke's parents, are asking for your help in finding her.
"Just get the word out, and if anybody has seen anything or remembers anything between Thursday and now or in the future call the Williamson County Sheriff's Department," said Janet.
Rachel, a former member of the Georgetown High School Cross Country Team, went jogging on Thursday morning -- a typical routine for her while back at home during a break from her college in San Diego, Calif.
She never returned to her parents' house in Georgetown and now her family, friends and neighbors are looking everywhere.
Neighbors like Debbie Tenyes and Fran O'Leary took their horses and searched the wooded areas for Rachel. They also handed out pictures asking if anyone had seen anything from Thursday morning.
The full-out effort from law enforcement to neighbors is one thing the Cooke family is taking comfort in.
"My heart is so warmed," said Janet Cooke. "We have people from every sector of this community."

According to Rachel's mother, their daughter is not the type to just run off. "No, she was ... she's a really good kid. Very, very responsible," said Janet Cooke.
If you can add anything that might help this investigation, you are asked to call (512) 943-1300.
Rachel Cooke was last seen at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday wearing a green sports top, grey sweat pants, addidas shoes and carrying a yellow walkman.
