The Austin Independent School District Wednesday will hold a community meeting to discuss the options for Pearce Middle School students.

Last week, the Texas Education Agency ordered the district to shut down the school, citing poor performance scores on the TAKS tests for several years as the reason.

The meeting will be held at the school's cafeteria at 6:30 p.m.
A light dinner and child care will be provided, in addition to translation services.

Pearce Middle School is located at 6401 N. Hampton Dr.
