Family of missing Georgetown woman continues search
The parents of a missing Georgetown woman said they will not stop searching for their daughter.
Nineteen-year-old Rachel Cooke was home from college for the holidays when she disappeared a week ago. Few leads have surfaced since investigators began searching for Cooke.
Now Cooke's parents have hired a private search company to help find her.
"I'm not giving up," said Janet Cooke, Rachel's mother. "I'm not going to stop until my baby's home. I want my baby home. Please let her come home."
Cooke's father contacted the search firm, EquuSearch, on Wednesday. The volunteer company will begin a new search on Friday covering a 20-mile radius of the Cooke's neighborhood.
Search parties will meet at the Faith Lutheran Church on Williams Drive on Friday at 8 a.m.
Anyone who wants to help is asked to call (281) 309-9500. The family has also put up a $10,000 reward for credible information.
