The flooding in New Braunfels forced Schlitterbahn to close Wednesday.

Crews are working to wash, clean and fix what was broken by the floods.

The water park gets its water from the Comal River, which runs through part of the park.

Picnic tables and lifeguard stands were carried away, and the children’s portion of the park was completely submerged.

Guests who had to evacuate were given a full refund.

According to the website, the Blastenhoff section of the park will re-open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday.

More sections are set to re-open in the coming days.

You can check their website for daily updates.
