The second annual "Linux Against Poverty" computer drive collected more than 200 used computers from Austin homes and businesses Saturday.
The computers are refurbished by a team of experts and donated to Austin families without home computers.
"We like to give computers to kids that need them, that's our primary function. A secondary function and a good thing is that we keep these computers out of landfills for another three to five years," Ken Starks, with the HeliOS Project, said.
