Capital Metro could prohibit any tobacco use near the MetroRail platform, transit centers, park and rides and its 3,000 bus stops around the city.

The Cap Metro Board of Directors will consider changing the policy at a July 26 meeting. However, the transit agency has asked for public input beforehand.
