Teachers in Round Rock are getting ready for the new school year by taking a walk around the neighborhood.
Teachers at Great Oaks Elementary will go to every students' house for a meet and greet. It’s a tradition that allows families to get to know their child's teacher.
Students are also invited to an ice cream social at the school at 5 p.m. Wednesday night.
Brushy Creek and Cedar Valley schools are also participating.
