The head of the National Education Association will hold a town hall meeting in Austin Friday.

NEA President Dennis Van Roekel will talk about education funding, recruiting and keeping quality teachers. He will also take questions from the public.

The town hall meeting starts at 4 p.m. and will be held at Paredes Middle School. The school is located at 10100 Mary Moore Searight Drive.
