Officials with APD said they’re no longer looking for four suspects from the alleged incident, which occurred last Monday. The case changed after the victim recanted portions of her story.

Last Monday, police responded to a kidnapping call in the 4500 block of Norman Trail. Initial reports indicated four men forced the victim into the bed of a truck and attempted to sexually assault her.

Police said an investigation revealed the incident did not occur as it was initially reported. APD said no charges are expected to be filed in the case.
