Police are investigating the deaths of two people found dead in a west Austin apartment.

Police say they received a call from a concerned relative about a suicidal person Sunday evening. The relative said 26-year-old Kenneth Brian Trevino "was despondent over the recent breakup with his ex-girlfriend," police say.

Trevino's ex-girlfriend was identified by police as 23-year-old Tiffanie Suzanne Perry.

When officers arrived at the apartment complex on the 9900 block of McNeil Drive at 11:40 Sunday, they found the bodies of Trevino and Perry inside.

"We are currently continuing the investigation to determine exactly what happened; what are the circumstances around how they bother became deceased. We do not have any information that there are any suspects out there. We are still trying to talk to as many witnesses as possible," Austin Police Cpl. Scott Perry said.

Officers said both bodies suffered trauma. Police have not released their cause of deaths.
