Austin's
moonlight towers are a significant part of the community's history and yet many people don't know their value.
University of Texas professor's Kevin Alter and David Heymann have both worked to keep the legacy of Austin's moonlight towers alive.
"They speak to Austin's early infrastructure," Alter said. "Also the quality of light is just so much more lovely."
