Lead actor Jake Gyllenhaal dealt with an unruly photographer in a place he least expected it: the men's restroom at Paramount Theater.
It happened at the world premiere of "Source Code" on Friday's opening night at SXSW.
Witnesses say a man started taking pictures of Gyllenhaal in the restroom and security responded to a brief scuffle.
Gyllenhaal said the situation didn't get out of hand but added that, like everyone else, he maintains an expectation of privacy when using the restroom.
"I'm a firm believer in privacy in a bathroom, but that's just me I guess. I'm apparently amongst some minority, but everyone was so polite and kind," Gyllenhaal said.
"We live with our devices, my phone is in my pocket at the moment and of course people are interested in taking pictures and stuff like that. I just think the bathroom isn't the best place," he said.
