An already creative city got an extra dose of art over the weekend.
The "Art City Austin" festival took over the streets around city hall Saturday and Sunday, as over 150 artists shared their creativity through painting, metalwork, sculpture and more.
The event also featured live music from local bands, along with dancing and children's activities hosted by Zachary Scott Theatre and the Dougherty Art Center.
Staff from YNN were also on hand, volunteering to help kids build the Austin skyline out of recycled and repurposed bottles and cans. Click through the photo gallery below to see more from the project.
