One in four Texas children is now at risk of going hungry.
The Capital Area Food Bank wants to make sure the children of Central Texas don't go hungry this summer through its Summer Food Service program.
David Bull, Executive Chef of Congress and Second Bar + Kitchen, made lunch for 80 children at El Buen Samaritano.
Chef Bull could only spend up to $3 per child for ingredients. That is approximately the same amount the Food Bank is reimbursed by the Texas Department of Agriculture.
