A 24-year-old woman charged in the hit-and-run death of Courtney Griffin was in court for a pretrial hearing Friday morning.
Former legislative aid Gabrielle Nestande was indicted in September for failure to stop and render aid, a third-degree felony.
Friday, a judge told the prosecution to continue with discovery in the investigation.
"We are continuing to hear from potential witnesses and are of course very interested
in talking to anybody who may know something," Travis County Assistant District Attorney Allison Wetzel said.
The next pretrial hearing is set for March 2. If convicted, Nestande could face up to 10 years in prison.
