Earlier:The Austin Police Department is investigating the fifth murder of the year in Austin.

According to police, a man was found with stab wounds around 1:15 a.m. on Saturday in the parking lot at 924 East 51st Street.

Austin Travis Co. EMS were called to the scene and transported him to University Medical Center Brackenridge, but was pronounced dead on arrival.

Homicide detectives with APD are investigating the death. There are not suspects at this time.
