Maj. Nidal Hasan
A military judge said he’d consider delaying the trial of Maj. Nidal Hasan until October of this year.
The judge made the announcement at a pre-trial hearing Wednesday.
Hasan’s attorney requested the judge push back the June trial date. The judge has agreed to a postponement once before.
Hasan faces 13 counts of murder and 30 counts of attempted murder as the suspect in the November 2009 massacre at Fort Hood.
If convicted, Hasan could face the death penalty.
