Austin Java in City Hall has always been a hot spot for movers and shakers in the downtown area, and now the coffee shop may take on a new identity.

Austin Business Journal Editor Colin Pope said the owners of Austin Java are in the works to transform the cafe into a full-service restaurant and music venue.
It’s a project in conjunction with Terry Likona, the producer of “Austin City Limits,” which is filmed just footsteps from coffee shop at the Moody Theater. The new place is slated to be called “Lickona’s.”
