Yassine clubs seized by state

Six downtown Austin bars tied to a crime ring have been seized by the state comptroller’s office.
Fuel, Kiss and Fly, Malaia, Pure, Roial and Treasure Island are all owned by Yassine Enterprises.
The clubs have been closed since a federal raid in March. Federal agents say the bars were used as a front to traffic drugs and launder money.
The state is clearing out the buildings taking equipment, furniture and alcohol. The property will be sold off to help recoup unpaid taxes.
Ten people, including Yassine Enterprises owner Mike Yassine, are charged.
Six of the suspects are still behind bars. Four are out on bond.
