For six years, Bradley blocked DNA testing, which have proven Michael Morton’s innocence for the murder of his wife.

With 100 percent of precincts reporting, Jana Duty is now celebrating her win. She said she has plans to reorganize the DA's office to avoid another wrongful conviction.

"The policies and procedures have to change because those procedures that was in place 25 years ago in the Michael Morton case, are still in place today,” Duty said. “We have to have an open discovery policy, we have to have fairness."

Duty also said she will seek justice even in older cases, many people believe are now resolved.

"I would to review some case because I am worried that the Michael Morton case is a onetime incident,” Duty said. “So I'd like to make sure things are done right on cases where people are spending life or in case where people are facing the death penalty."

YNN’s John Salazar talked with Duty outside her home earlier in the night as numbers approached in her favor.

Lloyd Doggett has secured the Democratic spot for U.S. House District 35. It’s a victory that comes as a surprise to some. The longtime Congressman’s district was vastly redrawn, cutting out many of his loyal constituents.

It looks like that Lt. Gov. David Dewhurst will face challenger Ted Cruz in a runoff for a spot on the U.S. Senate. When addressing supporters he said if elected, he would aim to put a stop to “Obamacare” and says to President Obama, jobs are an “endangered speices.”

In Williamson County, Jana Duty still holds a lead over incumbent DA John Bradley.

Early voting numbers are in and it looks like the biggest potential upset may be in the race for Williamson County District Attorney. Jana Duty has taken the lead with 52.52 percent of the vote over incumbent John Bradley, who currently has 47.58 percent.

In the race for Kay Bailey Hutchison's seat in the U.S. Senate, Lt. Gov. David Dewhurst has taken an early lead, but has not secured 50 percent of the vote, and may still face a runoff election against Tea Party-favorite Ted Cruz.

On the Democratic side of the Senate race, Paul Sadler has an early stride, and fresh fresh-faced Sean Hubbard is in last place.

YNN's Jeff Stensland asked Hubbard about his low early voting numbers, and Sadler stopped by the Bullock museum to tell Paul Brown how he's feeling as the numbers roll in.
