The US Olympic Swimming Trials begin next Monday. As usual, multiple current and former Longhorns will compete to represent the stars and stripes at the Olympics in London.
We weren't sure Brendan Hansen would be on that list...until the 2-time Olympian announced his comeback about 18 months ago. Hansen called himself an unknown going into the trials this year, unlike in 2008 when everyone expected him to win gold. His comeback has made him a bit of an uncertainty. Nobody is quite sure what he'll do when he dives in the pool. One thing he knows he will do, is savor every moment.
