A fire in Southeast Travis County is being investigated as ‘suspicious’ after officials found incendiary devices at the scene.
Employees at the sheriff’s office spotted smoke coming from a southeast portion of the county near Highway 183 and the Highway 45 toll around 4:30 a.m. and reported the fire.
Multiple “Molotov cocktails,” or improvised fire bombs, were found in two barns, one that was completely destroyed by the blaze.
There is now a potential arson investigation into the fire. Anyone with information about the fire should contact authorities immediately.
