Austin police are still on the lookout for a man who has now robbed six area businesses, most of them Game Stop stores, since June 25.

In all six cases, investigators say the suspect entered the business, showed a weapon and demanded money from employees before fleeing.

The times and locations of the robberies have varied. Police say the suspect is usually calm. One clerk even told officers the suspect entered the store and said, “Sorry to ruin your day, but I am robbing this store.”

The suspect is described to have the following characteristics (per APD):

• Hispanic male
• Light skinned
• Early to mid-20s
• 5'8" in height
• 160-170 lbs.
• Short black hair
• Light facial hair

The suspect was last seen wearing a gray or light blue shirt, dark pants and tan boots. He faces aggravated robbery charges upon his arrest, according to police.

APD says there is a reward of up to $1,000 for a tip that leads to an arrest or charges filed. Game Stop is also offering an additional, $5,000 reward.
