The Austin City Limits Music Festival could double the fun next year.
The fest’s parent company, C3 Presents, is in talks to expand the popular three-day music festival to an extra weekend.
The expansion will bring more money for Austin-area parks. C3 representatives said that would include millions of dollars to renovate Auditorium Shores.
ACL has already helped fund upgrades to Zilker Park... where it's held each year.
If the 2013 festival is extended, ACL would take place Oct.4-6 and Oct. 11-13 next year.
Part of Zilker would remain open and free to the public for the four days between the concerts.
