Downtown Austin is going to be all abuzz for two big events coming up.

According to the
Austin Business Journal, an event called Fan Fest is slated Nov. 16-17, ahead of the Formula One race on Nov. 18. The event will be organized by the Circuit of the Americas and will feature a concert at Auditorium Shores and a running event with RunTex Owner Paul Carrozza.
Another big event is organizers of the Austin City Limits Music Festival extending the weekend-long event to cover two weekends. That change is expected to bring in more
revenue for the city and is slated to take place in October.
