Austin police are looking for help in finding a suspect they believe is responsible for a shooting in downtown Austin on July 22.

The incident occurred at 2:26 a.m. on Sixth Street and San Jacinto Boulevard in front of the Thirsty Nickel and Blind Pig Pub. Officers say the suspect pulled out a gun when he was pushed to the ground during an altercation. He fired one shot.

The lone bullet struck four people. None suffered life-threatening injuries.

Police have a description of the suspect:

• Hispanic Male
• 5’06” to 5’08” in height
• Heavy/athletic build
• Short curly black hair
• Mustache and beard
• Tattoo on neck

The suspect was last seen wearing a white T-shirt with red writing worn over a black tank top, blue jean shorts and black shoes.

Anyone with information on the incident I asked to call Detective Stanley at (512) 974-6873.
