An Austin resident celebrated a special milestone Tuesday.

Fannie Simnacher turned 100 in the same farmhouse she was born in back in 1912. She said her family settled in Central Texas in 1835, and she's related to the World War II General Douglas MacArthur.

The nonprofit Meals on Wheels and More also helped celebrate the milestone with Ms. Simnacher. They've been delivering her meals since she was 78-years-old, back in 1990.

"I couldn't do it without them. I couldn't do without Meals on Wheels. I can't get up and cook and do all that food," Simnacher said.

Simnacher says the secret to living old is to loving God and getting outside and to enjoy the sunshine.
