Texas students will be headed back to school soon and that means a tax break for parents.
This weekend is the state’s designated “tax-free” weekend, meaning no sales tax is collected on many back-to-school items.
In order to be counted as exempt, each item purchased must be priced under $100. Clothes, backpacks, pens and pencils are all flying off the shelves.
