Police investigate fatal Bartlett stabbing
Authorities in Williamson County are searching for a murder suspect.
Investigators say 26-year-old Joseph Garza was fatally stabbed just before 1 a.m. Sunday. Williamson County Deputies, along with Bartlett police, were called to Lucy Street near Elm Street after Garza's body was found lying in the roadway.
Witnesses told police the suspect, 43-year-old Everett Johnson, got into an argument with the victim before stabbing him and leaving the area. Police believe Johnson is driving a 1998, two door, grey Lincoln with the rear lowered. The car has a Texas license plate number of 189-XPF.
Investigators say Johnson has ties to the Killeen and Waco area. If you know his whereabouts, authorities say do not approach him, and call 911.
