Police are investigating a shooting outside a Central Austin night club which injured two people.

According to a police spokesperson, the shooting happened just before 3 a.m. Sunday morning at the MoJoe Room Bar & Grill on Middle Fiskville Road.

Police say the two people were injured after gun shots were fired from a car inside the parking lot.

"It appears this all stemmed from a disturbance from the parking lot when a subject began firing from a dark colored vehicle,” Cpl. Chad Martinka with the Austin Police Department said. “A security officer saw what was happening. He then returned fire at the vehicle unknown if striking anybody. The vehicle then left the scene."

Police say the injuries of the two of the shooting victims are not life threatening.

No arrests have been made. Investigators are still interviewing possible witnesses to get more information.

Police are asking anyone with information to call the Austin Police Department at (512) 974-5000.
