Every year, local economist Angelos Angelou predicts Austin’s financial future. This time around, he gathered skepticism for predicting there will be 19,000 new jobs in Austin by the end of 2012.

According to
Austin Business Journal Editor Colin Pope, Angelou is now revising his numbers—for even more jobs.
Now the economist projects 25,000 new jobs to flood the Austin area by the end of the year. Chalk it up to Austin’s booming tech sector and companies banking on the area for growth and relocation.
