Endeavour is scheduled to stop at Biggs Army Airfield in El Paso. Then, it's on to NASA's Dryden Flight Research Center in California for a night.

Friday, the shuttle will head to Los Angeles International Airport.

Wednesday, fans in Space City came out to get a glimpse of history. They filled the streets with flags and cheers.

NASA's youngest shuttle Endeavour flew 25 missions covering nearly 123 million miles.

In mid-October, the shuttle will be put on display at the California Science Center.
