Landlords of eight downtown bars have been approached by businesses who want to take the bars over, but landlords are unable to pursue those options. Yassine Enterprises owns the liquor licenses for the addresses of their bars and the TABC can only issue one license per address.

According to the Austin Business Journal, the bind is costing the landlords $110,000 per month.

The mess has landlords of the eight downtown bars in quite a pickle since the owners of bars are still in jail awaiting their day in court.
