The Austin Business Journal profiled Gary Hoover, who’s starting a new venture called Stratipad, which is focused on gaming for the iPad and other tablet computers.

In the 1980s, he created a chain of book stores called Bookstop, ultimately bought by Barnes and Noble for $42 million. Afterwards, he created Hoovers.com, an online business directory which was bought by Dun and Bradstreet for $117 million.

According to the Austin Business Journal, Hoover’s track record of success makes this company one to watch in the coming months and years.
