While Friday nights in Texas are about what happens on the gridiron, none of it would be possible without the help of volunteers off of the field.

Athletic trainers do everything from stretch to bandage the football team, and deliver much-needed water to the hard-working teams.

"The whole time we are out here we are wrapping, stretching and preparing them, so they don't get hurt in games,” Austin High School athletic trainer Erica Sepeda said.
“They are pretty much like our kids because we have to watch them all day in the heat, so they won't get dehydrated and so they won't faint."
