The musician’s lifestyle can be tough, even here in Austin, but one local group is doing what it can to make things a little easier.
The Health Alliance of Austin Musicians works to make sure all of the city’ professional musicians have access to reasonable and affordable health care. Next week, the group will host its seventh-annual HAAM Benefit Day to raise money for its mission.
Caroline Schwartz, executive director of HAAM, said the benefit day is a the best day of the year to get on your bike and shoot all over town, taking in all of the shows and shopping that HAAM Benefit Day has to offer.
