I-35 reopens following pedestrian fatality

Interstate-35 is reopened following an auto-pedestrian wreck.

According to police, the accident happened near 32nd Street, on Interatate-35 around 4:30 a.m. Tuesday. Police say a man was trying cross the lower deck of Interstate-35.

“There was a man on the lanes of traffic, running in the lanes and he was struck by a truck that was southbound on 35 on the lower deck,” APD Sgt. Daniel Watson said.

Police ask anyone who witnessed the accident to call (512) 974-5000. The incident remains under investigation.
