Austin Business Journal Editor Colin Pope said 40 new RapidMetro buses slated to hit the streets will be complete with GPS devices to generate information on bus locations and traffic patterns.
Bus riders will then be able to track that data from their mobile devices. However, CapMetro is still waiting for a company to jump on board to create the necessary software.
