After deliberating for more than 10 hours over the past two days, the jury in the money laundering trial of three Yassine brothers has not delivered a verdict.
Deliberation is expected to resume Friday morning at the federal courthouse in Downtown Austin.
Business owner Mike Yassine alongside his brothers, Steve and Hadi Yassine, face federal money laundering charges. Seven days of courtroom testimony and evidence revealed what prosecutors call proof of a drug money laundering operation concealed through several downtown bars the Yassine brothers owned.
Steve and Mike Yassine are still in federal custody. Hadi Yassine is free on a $25,000 bond.
