Dumping the cross trainers for high heels, runners are getting ready for this weekend’s
Stilleto Stampede.
The unique event sends runners down a 100-yard track in support of breast cancer awareness and research. Sounds dangerous, but don’t worry, there hasn’t been an injury yet.
This year, all money raised will be going to the Seton Breast Cancer Center which is slated to be open next year.
