Austin Business Journal Editor Colin Pope said $5.4 million of a $13.4 million bond package will go directly to Austin Studios, which has filmed blockbusters including “True Grit” and “Miss Congeniality.”

Austin Studios recently bought a 73,000-square-foot facility, but doesn’t have enough money to turn it into production space.
