One dead after vehicle catches fire in NW Austin
One person is dead after a crash in Northwest Austin.
The incident occurred just after 2 a.m. Thursday in the northbound lane of Research Boulevard between Peyton Gin and Metric Boulevard.
When emergency crews arrived on scene, the vehicle was on fire. Investigators believe the driver hit a concrete barrier.
The name of the victim has not been released
