Handcuffed man escapes from South Austin hospital
Police are searching for a handcuffed man who escaped from custody Sunday morning.
APD officers tasered Cruz Reyes-Solis during an arrest on Teri Road in Southeast Austin, and then took him to St. David's South Austin Medical Center.
Officers say as they were leaving the hospital, Reyes-Solis was able to break away from officers and run away, still in handcuffs.
Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to contact police.
