Austin Business Journal Editor Colin Pope said city leaders are looking for a developer to create a smart phone app to find parking downtown. With new high-tech meters in most of the area, it should be easy for a developer to create an efficient way to find parking.
However, the city won’t pay for the app, but challenge developers to find a way to capitalize on it.
