After years in the making, the U.S. Grand Prix officially kicks off at the Circuit of the Americas race track Sunday.
More than 80,000 people made their way to track without incident to watch the qualifying rounds Saturday.
The person to beat this afternoon is Sebastian Vettel with Red Bull racing. He landed the pole position during Saturday’s qualifying round. Following him is Lewis Hamilton with the McClaren team and in third is Vettel’s teammate, Mark Webber.
Vettel is leading in points for the Formula One World Championship and a win Sunday could make him untouchable in Brazil—the last race on the F1 schedule.
The grand prix begins 1 p.m.
