About 14,000 people are expected to attend the 23rd annual H-E-B Feast of Sharing on Tuesday, two days ahead of the big day.
Twelve-hundred volunteers will work to dish out the 2,200 pounds of turkey and 3,000 gallons of mashed potatoes to the crowd.
"What the table means for us is a way to come together, and to be able to have all of our guests to sit down and for us to serve them it really means a lot to us and it’s the way the holidays should be spent," Danny Flores with H-E-B said.
This year's Feast of Sharing kicks off at 4 p.m. and will then move on to other cities.
H-E-B will host a Feast of Sharing in Temple on Dec. 6, then on Dec. 13 it will take place in Waco. Killeen will have theirs on Dec. 18.
