Austin Business Journal Managing Editor Tony Quesada said Peso and Bucks—featuring a Mexican and American menu—is slated to open up at 1003 Barton Springs Road by Christmas. The building was previously home to the South Austin Bar and Grill and Vinny’s Ten-O-Three Café.
The new restaurant will feature dishes for $7 or less and will cater to Austin’s growing population of late-night, early-morning eaters.
