Former President George H.W. Bush is currently being treated for bronchitis at The Methodist Hospital in Houston.
A spokesperson for the 88-year-old former president said he has been at the hospital for six days. He has been cured of bronchitis, but remains there because of a lingering cough.
The spokesman added the family hopes he will be discharged this weekend. Bush was Ronald Reagan’s Vice President and served as the commander-in-chief from 1988 to 1992.
